Study on agronomic characteristics and grain yield of barley genotypes in international yield trials in warm and semi-warm dryland areas.ý

This study was conducted by 256 international and national barley genotypes using 3 experiments namely: international barley crossing block spring type (IBCB-S) with 144 genotypes, international spring early maturity observation nurseries (ISEBON) with 95 barley genotypes and international strip rust barley IBSTrGP with 17 genotypes. All other expriments were performed systematically in the 2 rows with 2 mters length and 25 cm spacing from each other by labor and without and mahoor and khorram cultivars was considerd as check. During growth session, data was collected from some important morpho- physiological traits and all of genotypes were compared with checks and barley lines which have possis good agronomic characters in comparing with check or checks mean were select for the moer study in the next year. From IBCB-S, 26 lines which have been possis good agronomical triats were select so that grain yield were orderd from 470 kgha-1 for line No. 51 with 93.3% decline relation to chechs mean with pedigree Asta to 8590 kgha-1 for mahoor cultivar with 9/13% yield increment about check means. Although khorram cultivar with 8540 and 23.5% yiekd increment and line number 39 with 8360 kgha-1 and 29.9% yield increment was located in the next ranks. From ISEBON after considering field information were selected 11 lines better than checks mean and grain yield were arranged from 210 kgha-1 for line No.17 with pedigree Lignee527/aths//lAths/Lignee686/3/Aths ICB05-0220-19AP-OAP AND 95.7% less than check to 7670 to 7670 kgha-1 for line khorram cultivar. with 10% increment comparing the check. But lines 90and 15 with 7290 kgha-1 and 7260 kgha-1 with 4.5% and 48.5% more than check were located at the next rank respectively. From IBSTrGP were selected only 1 lines and rang of grain yield were orderd from 201 kgha-1 for line No. 17 with pedigree Arbayan-01//M6/Robur-35-6-3/3/Mammut//Gloria"S" /Come"S" ICB01-0245-10TR-OAP and 95.7% less than check to 7670 kgha-1 for khorram cultivar and 10% more than check. Lines number 90 and 15 with 7290 and 7260 kgha-1 with 4.5% and 48.5% yielded more than check were located in the next ranks..
