_ Micnonutrients are elements which are essential for plant grO\\\\1h .but are required in much ,smaller amount than those of the macro nutrients.nitrogen ,phosphorous and .potassium.The main micronutrinenrs are boron (B).copper (cu).Iron (Fe).manganese . (Mn) and zinc (Zn).Deficiencies of micronutriems have been increasing in some crops. Some reasons are higher crop yields which increase plum nutrient demand, and decreased use of farmyard manure in many agricuJtural soils. The seed of different sugar beet varieties planted by direct method in the year 2000 and the seedlings were planted in Karaj and U romieh. The first foliar spraying was in four leaf stage and the second was done te:1 d3Ys after: in the three locations. There \\Vere non_nutrition tremments as comrols .The seeds \\Vere harvested from \{he isolated fields separately. Seed characteristics such as 1000 weight seeds and seedling number , germination speed.vigourity.seed gennination were measured in both e:uiched and control tre:nments.Tn~ results of A~OVA for yield tdals showed that the:-e were no s:gniricunr di ffere~c:: for traits in KJraj nnd L' romi~h but '.ve:e 5ign.i!ici1nt in ~_\{(!.Shad.The (:omCiIi~~ analysis for riifferem traits aiso showed that there are significant differenc~ berwee:1 treatme:us. roe mean comparisons bet'."_ee:1 the treatments in all locations showed that the enriched tre:nme:1,t ET5 has 88.38 and 13.53 T/ha root and sugar yield respectively. The mean COntrast between tetra and diploid treatments also showed difference for absorbing micronutrients . As the resuJrs showed that there was no significant difference betwe::n treatment for seed weight .although the seed weight in tetraploids was greater than the diploids. It was also observed thar seed germination \\VlS not affected by fe:1ili:c:er treatments and the ioc:ukm of seed production. The results of germimltion in \\\\'3ter stress and Over. watering aiso showed that the tre:lIed seeds with nutrition hild a higher potential tolerance to stress conditions than the non treated ones.
