Investigating possibility of tank mixture of grass-killer herbicides with micronutrient in wheat
2011
Behroozi, Delavar
In order to investigate the antagonistic and synergistic effects and the possibility of tank-mixture of some important grass-killer herbicides and micronutrient fertilizers in wheat fields an experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with two-factors during 2009-2010 in Karaj, Shahrood, Shavoor (Khozestan) and Sharekord with four replications. The first factor consisted of four levels of herbicides including clodinafop-propargyl at 0.8 lit.ha-1, pinoxaden at 450 ml.ha-1, diclofop-methyl at 2.5 lit.ha-1 and Difenzoquat at four lit.ha-1 as commercial ingredient. The second factor consisted of five levels of micronutrients including complete fertilizer "Micro-gyah" containing micronutrients Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu (EDTA), B, Mo at 1.5 kg.ha-1, complete fertilizer "Micro-starter" containing NPK10-52-10, F, Zn , Mn, Cu (EDTA CHELATE), B, and Mo at rate 0.4 % (v/v), complete fertilizer "High-Potass" containing NPK12-12-36, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu (EDTA CHELATE), B and Mo, complete fertilizer "Micro-Sabz" containing NPK20-20-20, Fe, Zn , Mn, Cu (EDTA CHELATE), B, and Mo and control without fertilizer. The fertilizers and herbicides were sprayed in tank-mixture in tilleing stage of wheat. The results showed that among the herbicides that were applied in the present study, the efficacy of clodinafop-propargyl and pinoxaden to control grass weeds was partially better than diclofop-methyl and difenzoquat In Karaj, Shahrood and Sharekord applied fertilizers had no negative effect on efficacy of the four herbicides, but in Shavoor negative effect was observed in grain yield in tank-mix treatments od difenzoquate and diclofop-methyl with micro-nutrients. Therefore, tank mixture of fertilizers and herbicides used in the present the study are possible in Karaj, Shahrood and Shahrekord, but in Shavoor, for two mentioned herbicides "diclofop-methyl and difenzoquat" complementary experiments are required. In majority of locations, no significance different was observed between micro-nutrient treatments for grain yield. Key Words: Clodinafop-propargyl, Pinoxaden, diclofop-methyl, difenzoquat, yield
