Wide variety of Eucalyptus species and their ecologycal diversity needs essential to the first stage of planting species, the selection of species for planting according to the particular climate and goal. Accordingly, carry out the projects of investigation on adaptability and performance of industriual eucalypt provenances at Yazd ecological. Plan in the form of a randomized complete block with four replications and eight species and planting 36 trees to each repetition interval was 3 × 3. The species and prvanens such as E. rubida, E.saligna (20762). E.saligna, E.macarthurii, E.viminalis, E.sargentii, E. camaldulensis _Zh-141, E. was microtheca. Results of studies done at the end of the first and second year after planting showed that among significant difference (P 0.01) between species and prevanens in percentage of establishment, height and diameter growth, crown vulom and trunk diameter. Highest percentage at the end of the first year of planting for E.camaldulensis-Zh-141, E. sargentii and E.microtheca respectively 98.6%, 95.8% and 94.4% and at the end of the second related to the same species, 98.6%, 95.1% and 92.4% respectively. The growth rate of E.camaldulensis-Zh-141 in the end of first and second year afther planting was superior, although in some characteristic with other species not significantly different. All seem to use these species for timber production in the same environment is appropriate. The species such as E. rubida, E. saligna, E.viminalis due to rapid growth and wood quality as superior species in plantation using irrigation with wastewater, although they may be high early mortality. The E.sargentii resistance to soil and water salinity and somewhat resistance to cold and also the rapid growth, especially diameter growth among, suitable for control of desertification.
