Features of the Tsigai young sheep development in conditions of sharply continental climate in the Southern Urals

It was conducted scientific and economic experience on the sheep young of Tsigai breed. At three weeks of age the young rams were castrated by incision. To study the characteristics of growth and development the sheep young was periodically weighted. For the study of animal development in the embryonic period was made the controlling slaughter of newborn animals. These data served as a point of departure to study the meat production formation of the young sheep. Formation of young sheep meat productivity occurs quite intensively. Moreover, the magnitude of the studied parameters is significantly affected by sex and physiological state of animals. In this, the leadership position on key indicators belongs to young rams, the ewe lambs are characterized by the lowest index, wethers occupy an intermediate position.
