The objective of this study was to determine local distribution of soil micro element contents and allocation maps for Karamenderes River Basin in Canakkale Province, using Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrophotometer (ICP�AES) and geographical information system (GIS). Soil samples were collected from 0-30 cm depths from 80 different points by using Global Positioning System (GPS).
