Use of pesticides in Turkey and its effects on environment | Türkiye'de pestisit kullanımı ve çevreye olan etkileri

Inglés. In this review, effects of chemicals used in plant protection and so called pesticides on human and environment are mentioned. As the result of the study, what kind of unfavourable effects on both human and environment are caused by pesticides when used unconsciously was seen. In addition, actions being taken in developed countries against harms of pesticides and studies related to the subject were evaluated in the study. Pesticides with the State approval in Turkey in the parallel of the developments in the world were evaluated in the light of the findings in the present study. As the consequence of this evaluation, it was suggested that some of the pesticides currently used should be banned or their approvals should be abolished while the use of others should be restricted or taken under control. The increase of using pesticide in Turkey within the range of 1979 to 2002 was produced with graphics and the results obtained were evaluated by the new integrated pest management.

Turco. Bu çalışmada bitki korumada kullanılan pestisitlerin insan ve çevre üzerine olan etkileri literatür ışığında gözden geçirilmiştir. Pestisitlerin bilinçsiz kullanıldığında, insanlarda ne gibi rahatsızlıklar oluşturduğu ve çevrede ne gibi olumsuz etkiler yarattığı belirtilerek, pestisitlerin bu etkilerine karşı gelişmiş ülkelerin aldığı önlemler ve yapılan çalışmalar değerlendirilmiştir. Dünyadaki bu çalışmalara paralel olarak; Türkiye'deki ruhsatlı pestisitlerin araştırma sonuçları ışığı altında değerlendirmeye tabi tutulduğu, bazı pestisitlerin kullanımlarının yasaklandığı ve ruhsatlarının iptal edildiği ve bazılarının ise kısıtlandığı veya kontrollü kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Türkiye'de pestisit tüketiminin 1979 ve 2009 yılları arasında nasıl bir artış gösterdiği grafiklerle ortaya konmuş, elde edilen sonuçlar yeni entegre mücadele çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.
