The effect of planting dates and cultivars on yield and yield components of on corn to different groups split plots with four reparation was conducted in 2008 in chahak. Treatments included planting dates as main factors (twentieth December, thirty and I June, July and twentieth tenth July) and varieties as a sub factor (DC 370, SC 400, SC 500, S. C 647, SC 700 and SC 704) was achieved. Results showed that the effect of planting dates on the hight of stem, stem diameter, percentage of ear Cop, kernels/ear and 1000 kernels weight were significantly different at (p%5) but on ear diameter, row/ear, kernels/rows, average weight kernels/ear and kernel yield were not significan. The effect of varieties on hight of the stem, stem diameter, ear diameter, number of rows/ear, kernels/row, kernels/ear, average weight kernels/ear and kernel yield were significantly different at (p%١) and on percentage of ear Cop was significantly different at (p%٥) and on ١٠٠٠ kernels weight was nat significan. The results of this experiment show that the main factor (planting date) on yield was not significant and between varieties S.C.٥٠٠ variety (٩٥٥٥ t/ha) had the most kernel yield. Interaction indicate that planting date ranges end of May to twentieth of July cultivar S.C.٥٠٠ has had better results.
