Nand K. and encct of them on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of Gladiolus is vcry important. The experiment was carried out in completely randomize block design with four replication. Experimental treatments containing: nitrogen with five levels 0, 75, ISO, 225 and 300 kg/h as ammonium nitrate and potassium (K~O) with four levels O. 100.200 and 300 kglh as potassium sulphate. From two years cumbined analysis was specified the nitrogen had significant elfect on carmel weight and total number of corm and carmel (PO.OO I). number floret in spike and eormel (pO.05), and potassium on stem length and dry weight (pO.OOI), fresh weight (pO.OI). spike length, corm weight. total weight of corm and carmel (p0.05) in contrast with the control (No Ko)o The highest stem length. spike length. stem diameter of florets/spike number, and vase lili: got b)' N~~s K\}oo, NJQO K:oo, Nn K)oo, N300 K:oo and Nuo K~oo treatments respectively. The greatest total weight of COrm and carmel was obtained by N75 K200 Generally, it is recommended that, in soils similar to those studied in this experiment. the best qU3ntitative and qua]itative characteristics of Gladiolus like florets/spike number, stem diameter, spike length and vase life are get by N75 K200 Key words: Gladiolus. Nitrogen, Potassium
