So far, autumn cultivation of sugar beet has been limited to Khuzestan province. but in recent years because of incidence of limitations in the spring sowing sugar beet such as restriction in irrigation water, many studies have been conducted to develope autum sown sugar beet. In this study, in order to evaluate different quantitative and qualitative traits such as root yield, sugar yield, white sugar yield, sugar content, white sugar content, molasses, N, Na, K, extraction coeffition of sugar. nine sugar beet commercial varieties resistant to bolting, including: Giada, Posoda, Levante, Suprema, Vico, Rasta, Euodoro, Jawaher and Azaba were investigated in three regions of the north of Gullestan province. The experiment was started by planting seeds in the second half of September 2012, that One of the regions (River Atrak) was lost due to winter frost. The experiments was conducted in randomized complete block desing (RCB) with six replications. After establishment of the plants, the weeds were controlled and the seedlings were thinned. After thinning the number of plants per row was recorded. the plant number and also number of bolters were counted again late May. Results of the experiments showed that the level of the varieties differed with respect to bolting resistance in the two region. The qualitative characters were significantly different among the varieties. Most traits showed significant interactions for varieties and regions. Root yield of sugar beet varieties in the Gonbad region was less than that in Nemoneh farm but the mean of sugar contents in Gonbad region was higher than that in Nemoneh farm, average root yield varieties for Gonbad and Nemoneh farm was 58.4 and 73.9 ton per hectare respectively and sugar content in these two regions, was 13.9% and 16.4% respectively.
