An experiment was conducted based on split-split plot design in order to study the effects of different planting dates and seed densities on the yield of different wheat cultivar under the saline conditions. The experiment was carried out from 2007 to 2011 and had four replications. Treatments of the experiment include: planting date as the main factor(A) which consisted of three planting dates, 11 Nov, 26 Nov and 11 Dec. Seed density was the sub-factor (B) and had three levels, 400,500 and 600 seeds per square meter. Cultivars were sub-sub factor (C) and include four cultivars called Shirodi, Chamran, Marvdasht and L73. Each plot consisted of 10 rows of 6 meters long with a space of 20 centimeters between the rows. Results of the experiments revealed significant differences between planting dates. Among the three planting dates, the second one with 330.1 grams per square meterhad the highest value in comparison to planting date one (298.32grams per square meter) and planting date three (280.11grams per square meter). Cultivars were grouped to early and late maturity and yield performance of these groups showed that late maturity cultivars had the highest yield (316.44 grams per square meter) in the first planting date and early maturity group had higher yield at second planting date (344.32grams per square meter), also 600 seeds density had the highest grain yield in all planting dates. Keywords: wheat, planting date, seed density, salinity
