Effects of different level of urea fertilizer, plant density in two cultivars of wheat were evaluated at Plant research field of Protection Research Institute located in Veramin during 2011. Accordingly, Two wheat cultivar (Pishtaz and Tous) at four plant densities (400, 500, 600 and 700) at three levels of urea fertilizer were examined using split plots experiment as a randomized completely block design with three replications. Urea was considered as main factor and combination of density-cultivar as a sub factor was considered, respectively. Results of this study showed that increasing density of Pishtaz and Tous cultivar led to weeds dry weight and density reduction. While weeds dry weight was increased by increasing the level of urea fertilizer. Results of grain yield showed that higher density leads to decrease of investigated traits due to within species competition and in order to reduction of yield in Tous the suitable density for this cultivar can be 500 plant/m2. While Tous cultivar showed positive interaction to both fertilizer level and density and 600 plant/m2 wheat density was appropriate to control of weeds. The results showed that urea is although increased dry weight of weed species, however it is required to achieve optimum crop yield. The urea values of 250 and 450 kg/ha was required to achieve optimum wheat yield in Tous and Pishtaz, respectively. Key worlds: Crop density, nitrogen fertilizer, cultivar
