This research that has been done at Goosh catchment at the upstream of Kardeh dam, Evaluated the Impact Assessment of mechanical operation in the catchment. The method is based on a review of studies reported, Field studies, Recording changes affecting by the Watershed management operation. Required data for the performance of structures, the stability or structural damage and Causes damage, for Different types of structures for all structures and to analyze the results, were collected. Using descriptive method, Determine the reasons for the destruction of structures, Stability and performance of structures were studied. Stability of loose check dam is better than of gabion check dam. In gabion check dam, the main reason for loss of efficiency is destruction and creation of holes in the joint with stream side. After that it is downstream scour of stilling basin. In loose check dam, Poor choice of Structure, and inadequate of Flood passing capacity, have been the complete destruction of a large number of loose check dam. Minor damage loose check dam, Mostly rock displacement Caused by animal or tractor traffic in the rainfed area. With the knowledge of how to influence the structure and stability operations, suggestions in order to select the appropriate implementation structures to reach the desired objectives have been presented.
