Eect o palizin insecticide soap on pistachio psylla, pistachio psylla, Agonoscena pisticiae Burckharat & Lauterer (Hem.: Psyllidae) (Qazvin)

Pistachio psylla, Agonoscena pistaciae Burckharat & Lauterer (Hem.: Psyllidae) ،is the most important pest o pistachio orchards in Iran to reduce the quantity and quality o product. Several dierent insecticides have been used to control psylla by gardeners. or reduction o chemical insecticides using, the application o cocunat botanical soap (Palizin® SL70%, 1500, 2000, 2500 ppm) and acetamipride (Mospilan®, SP20%, 250 ppm), hexalumuron (Consalt®, EC10%, 500 ppm), thiamethoxam (Memori®, SP20%, 400 ppm) were tested in the ields o Qazvin region, during 2013. The dierent concentrations o insecticides were sprayed over the whole canopy and ruits two times at spring and summer seasons. Based on the ield studies, the eiciency, in 7 days ater treatment, were recorded in the 2000 ppm concentrations o palizin and acetamipride treatment by 93 & 89%, recpectively. Also, the psylla oviposition was inihibited in the 2000 ppm concentrations o palizin and acetamipride treatment by 94 & 56%, recpectively. In addition, eicacy o dierent insecticides at 7 days ater treatment, reaches the maximum and then decreases. Thereore, the cocunat botanical soap (Palizin®, 2000 ppm) spray over the whole canopy o pistachio trees could be used successully to reduce psylla damage on pistachio.
