This experiment was conducted in 1999 at the Safi Abad and Mazandaran agricultural research station. The objective of the study was to investigate the resistance of wild oat (Avena SPP) To graminicides. Seeds of wild oat were collected from wheat fields have been sprayed with graminicides and compared with seeds that have notbeen sprayed were planted in plots with area of 48 m2. Herbicide treatments included Illuxan, Puma SuPer, Topik, Grasp and Avenge. Using a t-Test number of wild oat stems and wild oat dry weight at the end of growing season determind and compared to the check. The results of the experiment in safi Abad showed that wild oat was resistant to the aforementioned graminicides. Tbe results of the experiment in Mazandaran indicated that there was not difference between wild oats from probable resistant seeds and check Plots. So the graminicides at the recommended rates were effective in controlling wild oat and wild oat resistance to the aforementioned graminicides was not observed.
