This study was conducted to evaluated the growth characteristics of scions which was top grafted as the pollenizer for the increase of pollen supply. The scions for pollen supply were 7 cultivars including soomee and rootstock was Kawanakajima Hakuto which was scheduled to receive pollens. The diameter of scion was 7-10mm and the top-grafting union ratio was higher when that time was earlier , but not shown to be different according to the pollenizer cultivars, therefore there was no graft incompatibility between pollenizer cultivars and Kawanakajima Hakuto. When the top-grafting time was earlier, the shoot lengths of pollenizer cultivars were longer and the number of flower buds increased.
