Survey shows that most part of society is not satisfied with current system of Education in the country. The learning process is consistent and it directly affects the formation of personality. Yet educational system in our country is constantly being changed making it unstable and leaving most influence on pupils and teachers. The traditional model of education does not offer sufficient attention to each students personal need, it is mainly caused by high amount of students, exceeding learning speed and over focusing on theoretical knowledge leaving pupils with poor practical skills. These are the reasons why students suffer from lack of motivation towards learning process. To maintain healthy interest toward studies it is essential to provide adequate environment that support good student and teacher interaction. Main thesis: What are the characteristics of current education system in Latvia have? That would be the main aspects of new alternative education system and how is developing at the moment? Would parents and field experts prefer new alternative system to the existing one and what future they would forecast to it? The aim of thesis is to establish the opinion of majority of citizens and field experts about necessity of alternative education system. The hypothesis is provided based on data collected.
