Comparative analysis of the remontant ability and seed formation process of morphologically different buckwheat varieties | Сравнительный анализ потенциала ремонтантности и семяобразования сортов гречихи различного морфотипа

Inglés. The effect of buckwheat breeding on the structure of plant generative sphere (number of inflorescences, number of flowers, flower fertility, the share of developed seeds) was studied. Contemporary varieties were compared with local populations that were considered as the reference point. The buckwheat plants were cultivated in the crop rotation in Orel Region. There were two test replications. On each plant we analyzed the first inflorescence from the bottom on the main stem: we registered the number of open flowers, filled and died ovaries. The fertility was calculated as the share of flowers which formed seeds; share of ripe seeds - as the ratio of the number of filled seeds to the total number of ovaries. During the breeding work the increase in the flower fertility happened in all morphotypes, however significantly (by 1.7…3.3%) it increased only in the cultivars of Krasnostreletsky and determinant morphotypes that can be considered as a mechanism for compensation of the reduction in the number of flowers per plant (by 18.8…19.3%). The proportion of ripe seeds was increased unreliably in all morphotypes. The relative conservatism of the trait indicates that it is determined by the provision of flowers by assimilates: the significant increase (up to 7.8%) is observed in varieties of Krasnostreletsky and determinant morphotypes, which have increased provision of flowers with roots and leaves. The main factor of the growth of the variety yield was improvement of seed setting and seed ripening. An additional factor for the growth of productivity is the increase in the seed size: weight of 1000 seeds significantly increased in varieties of all morphotypes. Its greatest increase was noted in samples of determinant and Krasnostreletsky morphotypes.

Ruso. Изучено влияние селекции гречихи на структуру генеративной сферы растений (число соцветий, число цветков, фертильность цветков, доля выполненных семян). Современные сорта сравнивали с местными популяциями. Гречиху выращивали в севообороте в Орловской обл. Повторность 2-кратная. На каждом растении анализировали первое соцветие снизу на главном побеге, подсчитывали число раскрывшихся цветков, выполненных и отмерших завязей. Фертильность рассчитывали как долю цветков, завязавших семена; долю налитых семян - как соотношение числа выполненных семян к общему числу завязей. В ходе селекции произошло увеличение фертильности цветков у всех морфотипов, однако существенно (на 1,7-3,3%) она повысилась только у сортов "краснострелецкого" и детерминантного морфотипов, что можно рассматривать как механизм компенсации снижения числа цветков на растении (на 18,8-19,3%). Доля налитых семян у растений всех морфотипов возросла недостоверно. Относительная консервативность этого признака свидетельствует о том, что он определяется обеспеченностью цветков ассимилятами: существенное повышение (до 7,8%) отмечено у сортов "краснострелецкого" и детерминантного морфотипов, отличающихся повышенной корне- и листообеспеченностью цветков. Основным фактором увеличения урожайности сортов стало улучшение завязываемости и налива семян. Дополнительный фактор роста урожайности - повышение крупности семян: масса 1000 семян достоверно возросла у сортов всех морфотипов. Наибольшее ее увеличение отмечено у образцов детерминантного и "краснострелецкого" морфотипов.
