Inglés. Urban solid waste has used to as a fertilizer, but heavy metal concentration might be hazardous for human health. Therefore, a research was conducted to determine the effects of urban solid waste on tomato yield, quality and nutrition status in 2004-2006 years. According to research results, urban solid waste was found positive effects on tomato yield and quality by the way the heavy metal content of the soil and fruit samples were not critical levels.
