Inglés. Wheat is the most important staple crop that has largest cultivation land among cereals. Genetic engineering of wheat is solely based on effective regeneration system. Transgenic wheat and cereal crops can be generated via Agrobacterium tumefaciens based transformation and particular bombardment.
