In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of the evaluation of drugs for pre-processing of blue lupine (Lupinus angustifolius) seeds to protect crops from pests dominant. It is revealed, that action of preparations insecticide action pikus, SC (imidacloprid, 600 g/l,) and gaucho, SC (imidacloprid, 600 g/l,) are effective against wireworms and thrips in crops of blue lupine. According to the research the preparation for pre-seed treatment insecticide action pikus, SC at a rate of 0.5 l / t (fluid flow 10 l / t of seed) is recommended for use in the Republic of Belarus. The studies have shown that environmental safety measures to protect the blue lupine against dominant pests can be improved by seed pre-sowing treatment with drugs of insecticidal activity, which would reduce the use of insecticides during the growing season. Lupine seed treatment with the preparations pikus, SC and gaucho, SC could reduce plant damage by wireworms , respectively, by 77,4-66,7 %, the number of thrips - by 82,1-77,1 % in stooling phase, and by 75.0 - 68.7 % in the budding phase, that ensured the preservation of 3.2-3.6 t / ha of grain yield .
