It is determined that the use of technology for preparation of the wet paste made of crushed grain allows to prepare high energy feed containing the exchange energy in the DM at 11.9 MJ with 7.8 MJ of CHEL, which is comparable with the nutritional value of dried grain. However, this technology being studied is substantially more profitable than drying grain and flat grain storage with the use of a chemical preservative. Preparation of paste from grain of fodder cultures (harvest humidity - 30-35%) is perspective, economically expedient and cheapest technology of damp grain conservation (9,21 USD/ton), allowing is guaranteed to receive a high-energy forage of own manufacture which at its enrichment by protein-vitamin-mineral additive is capable to replace a part of purchased concentrates in diets of large horned livestock and allows to save essentially financial assets on their purchase. The economic effect of replacing the wet grain drying by crushing and then storing in the trench was 9.46 USD per 1 ton of prepared feed.
