In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of analysis of results of components of variance by productivity traits of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) genotypes with mutant genes controlling carotenoid biosynthesis and fruit ripening in the 'line - tester' crossing system. Analysis of general combining ability and specific combining ability of variances in course of two years of research allowed us to estimate the relative importance of the genotypes involved in the selection process. So, by weight and average weight of fruit crop yield it was efficient to apply in crossing the variety Yellow oxyheart (t), and by the number of fruits – the variety Flaime (B). Among testers there was allocated long storage form 948 Mo (nor) by weight and number of fruits per plant and a variety Long keeper by weight and the average weight of the total fruit yield. All the studied tomato forms are defined as crossing components and the best ones are selected for their application in heterosis breeding with the purpose of creation high-yield hybrids with high quality fruits.
