Efficiency of hybridization of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum) and triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) with high-protein wheat mutants, marked with purple coloring grains (T. Aestivum var. Australianum) | Эффективность гибридизации яровой пшеницы (Triticum aestivum) и тритикале (x Triticosecale Wittmack) с высокобелковыми мутантами пшеницы, маркированными фиолетовой окраской зерна (T. The problem of creation of spring wheat with high-quality corn appears very important for agricultural science of the Republic of Belarus. Therefore, creation of inter-species and inter-generic F1 hybrids with use of high protein-containing sources – violet wheat mutants for future selection of species with high corn quality, appears the main goal of the research. The results of estimation of two violet gamma-mutants (M-Bearded and M-Unbearded) of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum var. australianum L.) in reciprocal crossing with triticale and wheat are presented. Influence of polyploidization on the degree of manifestation of quantitative characteristics of F1 hybrids is analyzed. The impact of wheat mutant genotype in combination with triticale on height and structure of crop yield of F1 hybrids is evaluated. The efficiency of use of mutants as mother components, what is proved by the increase of parameters of productivity elements of F1 hybrids, has been established. In reciprocal crossing with triticale unbearded mutants should be used.
