In course of research there was studied the influence of chemical plant protection means against weeds, seed and soil infection, and a complex of diseases on the content of protein, carbohydrates and fats in barley (Hordeum vulgare) grain as well as amino acid protein content. The field tests were realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2006-2008 in Logojsk (Minsk region). As a result of realized research there was revealed that at the increase of the quantity of applied chemical plant protection means, especially in the form of tank mixtures, danger of excessive accumulation of harmful substances, in particular, heavy metals in plant growing production considerably increased. Fungicides, depending on their compound caused accumulation of certain chemical elements in barley grain. Seed treatment agents from the group triadimenol in admixture with fuburidazol and imazalil caused accumulation of Ni and Cu with decreasing content of Zn and Ca; disinfectants of the new generation from tebuconazole group increased Sn content, decreased the content of Ni, Br, Sr, Zn, Cu, Fe, Ca; the content of Rb, Cr, Mn and K was not changed. Herbicides from the group consisting of amidosulfuron in admixture with iodine Sulfuron methyl sodium mefenpirdietil on a background of protectants from the group consisting of tebuconazole increased content in barley grain of Ni, Br, Sr, Cr, Mn, Cu; on a background of protectants from the group in admixture with triadimenol and fuburidazol imazalilom increased content in barley grain Sn, Br, Sr, Cr, Cu, Fe.
