Turnip-rooted celery varieties Yudinka and Egor were characterized by a complex of economically important traits of the productive plant organ (mass and shape of root). According to the content of the basic biochemical indices (dry substance, vitamin C, etc.) the highest yielding varieties were Yudinka - 188.5 centner / ha and Egor - 182.7 kg / ha, according to the resistance to septariose - Egor variety.
