In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were studied issues of changing agrochemical composition of floodplain peat soils under the influence of a controlled flooding. Long-term studies show that in the application of the controlled flooding depending on the duration of the regimes alluvial the peat soil in the system of agrobiocenosis continues to remain in a state of ecological balance. Adjustable and introduction of moderate norms of mineral fertilizers is one of the main factors of optimization of soil regime while maintaining optimal parameters of soil-absorbing complex and the potential fertility. Controlled flooding (15-40 days) promotes the accumulation of moisture in the peat-bog soils, the value of which throughout the growing period is within the optimal borders and practically was not lower than moisture of the break capillaries. The identified directional effect and degree of change of soil regimes of alluvial peat soil as a result of land reclamation and agricultural use impacts can contribute to solving the problem of conservation of soil fertility in the Pripyat River floodplain in case of its meadow use, to conservation the development of floodplain soil type, to creation of a long-term sustainable agro-ecosystems with preserving environmental resources and bioenergy of floodplain peat soils.
