Tires represent expensive and easily wearing elements of agricultural equipment, especially, tractors. Charges for tires' maintenance and replacement occupy more than 15% of total expenses of machinery and equipment management. Service life of tires in a large measure depends on exploitation, technological and natural (climatic) conditions. Soil texture and density along with stone contamination impact tire road grip and wear-out. The results of the studies of the influence of climatic conditions on the use of machinery tractor's tire wear in different agro-climatic zones of the Republic of Belarus are given. Dependence of tire wear-out on maximum molecular moisture capacity, typical for different soil types (sandy, loamy and clay soils) is analyzed. Values of coefficients of wearing capacity of the different soils are measured. Distribution of agricultural lands according soil types is evaluated.
