In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of estimation of hybrid combinations obtained by crossing the parental forms with different color skin and pulp of the potato (Solanum tuberosum), the frequency of occurrence in the offspring genotypes with red and blue coloration of tubers. There were highlighted with the release of parental forms in the progeny of the samples with colored flesh, which can be used as a source of parental forms for breeding varieties with anthocyanin colored flesh of potato tubers. For potato varieties with anthocyanin coloration of flesh it is necessary to in crosses at least one of the components of the parent forms with colored pulp. The number of such forms is dependent on the genotype of the original parental forms and directions for their use in hybridization. The greatest number of hybrids in the progeny with intense colored pulp was obtained in combinations: 153-25 x Granat, 153-25 x 2278-6, 153-25 x Dubrava. Evaluation of hybrids by the color of tuber jacket in 1 year-old nursery seedlings made it possible to increase the efficiency of the selection process in this direction and discard samples with light colored jacket which could not have colored pulp.
