Bdelloidea Hudson et Gosse, 1886 represent a class of rotifers with vermicular body structure. The author of the research suggests evaluation of the bdelloid rotifers as a perspective live material for mass cultivation and for future utilization as feed for the fingerlings of pelagic fish. The experiments on the cultivation of six bdelloid rotifer species isolated from water and terrestrial habitats of the Republic of Belarus have been carried out. The optimal terms of bdelloid rotifers cultivation are revealed. The indexes of the quantity increase growth and the main production characteristics are determined; influence of temperature regime and application of the algae as a feed base for bdelloid rotifers is analyzed. The most important production characteristics of four model species of bdelloid rotifers along with average daily weight gain of the rotifers are displayed. The ability of Bdelloidea Hudson et Gosse cultivation for mass breeding aimed on production of live start feeds for fish fingerlings' growing is analyzed.
