In course of the research there was studied the basics of adaptive intensification which focuses on man-made energy consumption reducing for each additional unit of output, ecologization and biologism of intensification processes, except the destruction of the natural environment, environmental sustainability increase of agro ecosystems. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. A detailed analysis of the objective conditions that contribute to the further implementation and effective use of the model adaptive intensification of agricultural production was made. Comparative characteristics of the state and priorities of technologically-intensive and adaptive systems of agricultural production was given. As a result of research it was found that conducting adaptive intensification required consideration peculiarities of the development of almost every business entity that involves an individual approach in determining the strategic direction of its further implementation and effective functioning on the basis of scientific advice. Absolute requirement should be matched level intensification conditions for its implementation (placement, specialization, concentration, combination branches). The basic premises of adaptive intensification of agriculture were shown.
