Sheep farming in Latvia experienced a positive development trend: the number of farms raising sheep and the total number of sheep recorded in them have increased recently. Sheep meat productivity traits are used to improve the industrial crossing, local breeds of sheep breeds mate with the father (meat type) rams. As the fattening of the factors influencing the results analyzed: lamb sex: sheep, ram, lambs born number, one, two, three, birth month: December, January, February, March. Lamb fattening results are influenced by gender, the number of lambs at birth, as well as the birth month. Intensify fattens the he-goats, reaching 410 g increase in the average live weight per day, although the 700 g limit exceeded separate male and female lambs. Intensive fattening of both sexes Texel crossbred lambs can get up to 55% of a high carcass yield. Best fattening and slaughtering results obtained in January–born lambs group.
