The aim of the research was to determine the effect of Fertileader Gold biostimulator on the productivity indices of sunflower plants under field conditions. Foliar application of the fertilizer induced a significant increase of all the parameters studied in the genotypes investigated. A maximal stimulation was recorded for the weight of achenes per head (on the average 46.31%) and the number of seeds per plant (26.59%). The fertilizer had a lower but significant influence on the weight of 1,000 seeds (16.38%) and on the head diameter (12.75%). The results demonstrated a significant stimulatory effect of Fertilidear Gold on the productivity of sunflower in the Republic of Moldova conditions. The data may be useful for selecting varieties that provide maximum efficiency for the sunflower production.
