Study on viability of mangosteen seeds by sowing seeds immediately after expose from fruit and storage mangosteen seeds 1, 2, 3 to 10 days before sowing. The result showed that there was not significantly different in average number of day to germinate, but storaged mangosteen seeds over 7 days to gave the lower germination rate and will be reduced 50 percent germination rate when storage mangosteen seeds after 10 days. And study on germination of mangosteen seeds, The result showed that uncut mangosteen seeds used the average germinate time less than cut the seeds into 2, 4 and 6 segments, respectively. The germination rate reduced when cut the seeds into 2, 4 and 6 segments. But number of seedlings from cutting seeds higher than uncut seeds.
