Effect of retardants to reduce the rate of growth and the continued viability of sterile cultures

В работе изложены результаты экспериментальных исследований, касающиеся влияния различных концентраций хлорхолинхлорида и абсцизовой кислоты на активацию меристем, скорость роста и жизнеспособность регенерантов стерильных культур 6 сортов голубики высокой и 3 сортов брусники обыкновенной. Показано, что активация меристем, скорость роста и жизнеспособность регенерантов исследованных сортов зависят от ретардантов, содержащихся в питательной среде, их концентраций и сортовой принадлежности растений.
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Inglés. Sustentation of the stability of sterile cultures supposes their continuous growing within optimal conditions. But such method has several shortcomings including somaclonal variability, impurity with alien genetic materials and expensiveness of nutritive medium necessary for transplanting. Therefore, application of specially matched retardants used during growth of introduced varieties appears a solution of above mentioned problem. The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the effect of different concentrations of chlorocholine chloride and abscisic acid on the activation of meristems, growth rate and viability of regenerated sterile cultures of 6 varieties of Vaccinium corymbosum L. and 3 varieties of Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. The experiment has been carried out for 12 months with photoperiod of 16 h and temperature 25 C. Influence of chlorocholine chloride and abscisic acid on growth and viability of Vaccinium corymbosum L. and 3 varieties of Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. has been analyzed. Vitality of introduced varieties of Vaccinium cultivated on different culture mediums after 12 months of cultivation has been evaluated. As a result of the research it has been shown that addition of plant growth inhibitors such as chlorocholine chloride and abscisic acid supposes decline of growth rate of the plants, prevents the aging and increases viability of all introduced species of Vaccinium. The investigated parameters depend on retardants contained in the culture medium, their concentration and varietal identity of plants.
