In a course of the research there was studied the yield of new spring soft wheat (Triticum) (varieties (Laska, Lyubava, Sudarynya, Vestochka, Lastochka, Chaika) well as their nitrogen consumption and use depending on the level nitrogen nutrition. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2012-2014. As a result of realized research there was revealed that by grain yield, the new varieties were not worse than the standard (var. Rassvet) even exceeding it. They consumed almost the same nitrogen amount in the period of vegetation as the standard but use the nitrogen better for grain yield formation. The most fruitful sort Sudarynya on sod-podzolic loam soil as compared to the standard formed average (during 2012-2014) increase of grain yield at a low background of nitrogen nutrition - 9.3 c/ha, on average - 10.8 c/ha and at a high – 8. 6 c/ha. New varieties of spring wheat consumed nitrogen in almost the same amounts as the sort Rassvet, but more rational by comparison using nitrogen absorption on the formation of units of the economically valuable products.
