Inglés. The subject of wood chemistry technology examines the chemical processing of wood, which changes the chemical composition of wood. The methods of chemical technology used in chemical processing and chemical recycling of wood are described in the first chapter of the book. The second chapter examines the biological degradation of wood due to microorganisms and pests and the protection of wood against harmful factors using natural and chemical methods. The third chapter is devoted to the protection of wood against fire. The book is intended for students as a teaching aid in the study program ''Woodworking'' at the Forest Faculty of Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies for the acquisition of the study subject ''Wood chemistry technology''. The book will be useful for architects, builders, designers and manufacturers of wooden structures, as well as other interested parties.

Grāmata noderēs arhitektiem, celtniekiem, koka konstrukciju projektētājiem un ražotājiem, kā arī citiem interesentiem.
