Evaluation of different synthetic fungicides and plant extracts against Fusarium wilt of eggplant

Four plant extracts and four chemicals were evaluated against Fusarium oxysporum in lab conditions under completely randomized design (CRD). In plant extracts maximum inhibition against the pathogen expressed by Allium sativum 47.25 % followed by Azadirachta indica 39.56 %, Datura stramonium 29.78 % and Allium cepa 26.42 % while in chemicals Radar showed significant results by inhibiting the pathogen 81.33 % followed by Nativo 71.37 %, Metalaxyl + Mancozeb 22.99 % and Moncerene 20.61 % as compared to control and it was least effective. In greenhouse different concentrations of Radar and Allium sativum alone and their combination were evaluated against the Fusarium wilt disease of Eggplant. Minimum disease incidence % was recorded on combine treatment of Radar + Allium sativum which control the disease upto (59%) followed by Radar (52%) and Allium sativum (47%) respectively as compared to control.
