Kononova, N.K. | Samokhina, O.F.
The paper considers the relationship of air temperature on the European coast of the Arctic with annual, seasonal and monthly precipitation in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Volga. It is established that negative correlation predominates. At the end of the XIX and the first half of the twentieth century, the connection of air temperature on the coast of the Arctic was the closest to the autumnal precipitation in the upper Volga, and the connection with monthly precipitation was the closest in December in the lower reaches. In the 21st century, the negative correlation turned out to be the most significant in the winter period in the lower reaches of the Volga, and the connection with monthly totals was in March in the upper and middle reaches.
