Dill (Anethum graveolens L.) is an annual, aromatic spice plant from Apiaceae family. There are good environmental conditions for growing it in our country, however, it is usually grown on small areas, mainly in yards and gardens, rarely on fields. Growing technologies very depending on the plant,s purpose i.e., whether the dill leaf is grown for spice, as a herb for the distillation of essential oil or a fruit for food or pharmaceutical industries. Since dill is not extensively grown in Serbia, pests and diseases are usually not a problem. However, a large number of phytopatogenic fungi are recorded on this plantaraund the world, and the damage is usually concentrated on specific areas. Listed as the most significant diseases caused by fungus are the following: Fusicladium depressum, Erysiphe heraclei, Cercosporidium punctum and Itersonilia perplexans, and as the most serious insect, Graphosoma lineatum.
