Some features of the influence of food rations of different structure on the content of free amino acids in the blood serum are elucidated in the article. The experiment was performed on 20 mature rats that were fed with different food rations. A correlation of amino acid content in serum based on structural components in food rations has been established. The excess of the structural components in the food rations (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) induces qualitative and quantitative changes in the free serum amino acid pool of the experimental rats. Data about the concentration of certain amino acids in the blood serum would allow their use as markers in identifying, at the first stage, the metabolic imbalance depending on the nutrient structure of rations and will serve as a basis for elaboration of recommendations for the prevention of functional disorders by optimizing nutrition. 14 references, 3 tables.
