In August-October 2006 ichthyoplankton of the western Bering Sea included 30 species. The family Cottidae (33,6%) and Pleuronectidae (30,5%) was dominated. Seventeen species of plankton revealed in the feeding of larvae and juvenile fish. The common food objects for all kinds of larvae were copepods Pseudocalanus spp. and Oithona similis. The competition was possible by the high degree of similarity food. But it is take into consideration not only food basis and the ration of the fish, but and the concentration of the accumulation of the larvae of the fish in the time and in the area
