In the Republic of Serbia, the largest part of foreign trade in agricultural products and vegetables refers to fruits and vegetables. Numerous trade agreements have had an impact on trade in agricultural products, especially fruit. In this paper are analyzed the import of the most important fruit species and fruit processed in the Republic of Serbia in the period 2007-2016. Most of the import was from the EU countries and the CEFTA agreement. The average import of fresh and processed fruit in the Republic of Serbia in the analyzed period amounted to 180 million US dollars with the tendency of growth at a rate of 4.7%. The structure of import of fresh fruit is dominated by bananas with a share of 23%, followed by oranges, apples, mandarins and clementines, lemons and limes. When it comes to processed fruit, the structure of import is dominated by jams, fruit jellies and marmalades with 20%.
