New promising chickpea variety 'Volzhanin 50' | ВОЛЖАНИН 50 - НОВЫЙ ПЕРСПЕКТИВНЫЙ СОРТ НУТА

Inglés. A new large-seeded chickpea variety (CV) Volzhanin 50 has a number of positive properties that distinguish it from other cultivated varieties. The variety is obtained by individual selection from a hybrid population by crossing the variety Volgogradsky 10 with a large-seeded sample from Syria. It relates to the Transkaukaziko karneum species. CV has a high resistance to lodging (5 points). Beans are oval with a beakshaped tip, have high resistance to cracking and abscission (5 points). In competitive variety testing, the weight of 1000 grains on average over 3 years was 317 g. The CV is middle-ripening, ripens on the 2 to 5 days, later than the standard, flowering occurs on the 26-34 day, economic ripeness occurs on the 49 to 54 day from the beginning of flowering. It is affected by disease and damaged by pests at the standard level. The protein content is over the standard by 0.6-1.0%. State variety testing was carried out on 4 strain test plots STP) of which 2 are located on chernozem soils (Elansky and Bashantinsky and 2 are located on light chestnut (Volgograd State Variety Testing Plot and Oktyabrsky). The hydrothermal conditions for the research years (2016-2017) on STP were different which influenced on the studied indicators. On average for 2 years, the CV stood out in terms of yield. At the Volgograd STP it exceeded the standard by 0.47 t / ha, at the Yelansky STP - by 0.43 t/ha. In the absence of precipitation at the Oktyabrsky STP the yield of both varieties was low. At the Bashantinsky STP in Kalmykia, CV exceeded the standard by 0.50 t/ha. CV relates to varieties with large grain. At the Volgograd STP the CV by the weight of 1000 grains exceeded the standard by 116 g, at the Oktyabrsky STP - by 48 g. The largest grain weight of 397 g was formed in the CV in 2017 at the Volgograd STP. The length of the growing season for varieties varied depending on the prevailing weather conditions. On an average of 2 years, the CV ripened simultaneously or with a difference of 2 to 5 days compared with the standard variety. It can be concluded that the new CV exceeded the standard variety Volgograd in yield and grain size. Thevariety Volzhanin 50 was approved for use in the Volgograd region and the Republic of Kalmykia in 2018.

Ruso. Новый крупносемянный сорт нута Волжанин 50 (НС) получен индивидуальным отбором из гибридной популяции от скрещивания сорта Волгоградский 10 с крупносемянным образцом из Сирии. Относится к разновидности transkaukaziko karneum. НС обладает повышенной устойчивостью к полеганию (5 баллов). Бобы овальные с клювовидным кончиком, устойчивость к растрескиванию и опадению высокая (5 баллов). В конкурсном сортоиспытании масса 1000 зерен в среднем за 3 года составила 317 г. НС среднеспелый, созревает на 2...5 сут. позднее стандарта, цветение наступает на 26...34 сут., хозяйственная спелость на 49...54 сут. с начала цветения. Поражается болезнями и повреждается вредителями на уровне стандарта. Содержание белка превосходит стандарт на 0,6…1,0%. Государственное сортоиспытание проводилось на 4 сортоучастках (ГСУ), из которых 2 расположены на чернозёмных почвах (Еланский и Башантинский и 2 на светло-каштановых (Волгоградская ГСС и Октябрьский). Гидротермические условия за годы исследований (2016-2017 гг.) на ГСУ были различны, что повлияло на изучаемые показатели. В среднем за 2 года по урожайности выделился НС. На Волгоградской ГСС он превысил стандарт на 0,47 т/га, по Еланскому ГСУ – на 0,43 т/га. При отсутствии осадков на Октябрьском ГСУ урожайность у обоих сортов была низкой. На Башантинском ГСУ в Калмыкии, НС превысил стандарт на 0,50 т/га. НС относится к сортам с более крупным зерном. На Волгоградской ГСС НС по массе 1000 зерен превысил стандарт на 116 г, на Октябрьском ГСУ– на 48 г. Самое крупное зерномассой 397 г сформировалось у НС в 2017 г. на Волгоградской ГСС. Продолжительность вегетационного периода у сортов изменялась в зависимости от сложившихся погодных условий. В среднем за 2 года НС созревал одновременно или с разницей в 2...5 сут. по сравнению с сортом-стандартом. Вывод: НС превосходит по урожайности и крупности семян стандартный сорт Волгоградский 10. Сорт Волжанин 50 допущен к использованию в Волгоградской области и Республике Калмыкия в 2018 г.
