Productivity of domestic and foreign sugar beet hybrids with different basic fertilizer backgrounds in the Central Black-Earth Region | Продуктивность гибридов сахарной свеклы отечественной и зарубежной селекции на разных фонах основного удобрения в ЦЧР

Estimated was the influence of different fertilizer doses on productivity of domestic (DH) and foreign (FD) sugar beet hybrids and also to determine the fertilizer doses having the greatest positive effect on beet root yield and sugar content to obtain the highest yields with the best quality. The studies were carried out in 2018–2019 in the Voronezh region. The experiment scheme included control (without fertilizers) and 5 variants with different doses of mineral fertilizers and manure that had been applied in a grain-beet crop rotation since 1936 Leaf surface area of the DH was by 19.5–112% more than of the foreign one; fertilizers influenced the DH to a greater extent. But on September, 1st, beet root yield of the FH was by 6.28–44.6% more than of the domestic one; in addition, fertilizers had more effect on yield of the latter. Dynamics of the foreign hybrid growth from 1st September to 1st October was more significant, especially when moderate doses of fertilizers were applied. Total yield of the foreign hybrid was higher by 11.5–44.7%, and it reacted to application of fertilizers better than the domestic one. The domestic hybrid formed more tops and was more responsive to high doses of mineral fertilizers on a background without manure; increase of fertilizer doses contributed to gain in yield of its tops. The DH had lower (by 0.6–0.8%) sugar content of roots, and fertilizers promoted significant decrease of this index, while sugar content of the FH was more stable. The FH fields provided sugar yield by 1.49–4.18 t/ha more than the domestic one. Under the influence of fertilizers, sugar yield of the former improved by 19.7–37.3% (one of the latter increased by 6.97–21%). It has been revealed that yield of the FH main products and the DH by-products greatly depended on area of leaves and chlorophyll content in them. But for the FH, beet root yield depended on vegetative development parameters to a higher degree than for the domestic one. Application of N120P120K120 for sugar beet with the background of 50 t/ha of manure in fallow as well as N135P135K135 for the crop with the background of 25 t/ha of manure ensured the best yield of the foreign hybrid. Use of N190P190K190 (without manure) and N120P120K120 + 50 t/ha of manure provided the same for the DH.

Оценивали влияние различных доз удобрений на продуктивность гибридов сахарной свеклы отечественной (ОГ) и иностранной (ИГ) селекции, а также определяли дозы удобрений, обладающие наибольшим положительным действием на урожайность (УН) и сахаристость корнеплодов для получения высоких урожаев наилучшего качества. Исследования проводились в 2018–2019 гг. в Воронежской обл. Схема опыта включала контроль (без удобрений) и 5 вариантов с разными дозами минеральных удобрений и навоза, которые вносились в зерносвекловичном севообороте с 1936 г. Площадь листовой поверхности ОГ была на 19,5–112% выше, чем ИГ, влияние удобрений в большей степени проявилось на ОГ. Но уже на 1 сентября ИГ имел на 6,28–44,6% более высокую УН корнеплодов, чем ОГ, при этом удобрения в большей степени влияли на УН последнего. Динамика роста ИГ с 1 сентября по 1 октября была более выражена, особенно при применении умеренных доз удобрений. Итоговая УН ИГ была на 11,5–44,7% более высокой, он был более отзывчив на внесение удобрений, чем ОГ. ОГ формировал больше ботвы, он лучше реагировал на высокие дозы минеральных удобрений на безнавозном фоне, увеличение доз удобрений способствовало повышению УН его ботвы. ОГ имел на 0,6–0,8% более низкую сахаристость корнеплодов, удобрения способствовали значительному снижению этого показателя, тогда как содержание сахара в ИГ было более стабильно. С посевов ИГ собрано на 1,49–4,18 т/га больше сахара, под действием удобрений сбор сахара возрастал на 19,7–37,3% (ОГ – на 6,97–21,0%). Установлено, что УН основной продукции ИГ и побочной продукции ОГ в сильной степени зависела от площади листьев и содержания хлорофилла в них, но УН корнеплодов гибрида иностранной селекции – в большей степени, чем отечественного. Наибольшую УН ИГ обеспечивало применение N120P120K120 под сахарную свеклу на фоне 50 т/га навоза в пару, а также N135P135K135 под культуру на фоне 25 т/га навоза, ОГ – N190P190K190 (без навоза) и N120P120K120 + 50 т/га навоза.
