Корреляционный анализ оценки скороспелости гибридов кукурузы по ФАО / Correlation analysis of early maturity of corn hybrids by FAO

The article presents a correlation analysis of determination of precocity of corn hybrids according to the precocity scale (number) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) when growing corn (Zea mays) in the central zone of Belarus according to the number of days from germination to flowering of a cob of the corn and leaves on one plant, dry matter content in the plant and moisture content in grain during harvesting. It is shown that the last two indicators give a more accurate result regardless of the weather conditions of the year. A discrepancy was found in the value of the number of the FAO assigned by the originators of the hybrids. Therefore, this should be done in the area of commercial production for an adequate assessment of the precocity. Depending on the intended use, a hybrid can have a different number of the FAO especially in relation to hybrids with a low proportion of grain in the dry matter yield. /В статье проведен корреляционный анализ определения скороспелости гибридов по числу Продовольственной и сельскохозяйственной организации Объединенных Наций (ФАО) при выращивании кукурузы (Zea mays) в центральной зоне Беларуси по количеству дней от всходов до цветения початков, листьев на одном растении, содержанию сухого вещества в растении и влаги в зерне при уборке. Показано, что два последних показателя дают более точный результат независимо от погодных условий года. Установлено несоответствие числа ФАО, присвоенного оригинаторами гибридов, поэтому для адекватной оценки скороспелости это следует делать в зоне товарного производства. В зависимости от цели использования гибрид может иметь различное число ФАО, особенно в отношении гибридов с низкой долей зерна в урожае сухого вещества.
