Morphology of the Intestine of Indigenous Adult Goats of Assam (Capra hircus)

The present study was conducted on six adult indigenous goats of Assam. Jejunum was the longest part of the small intestine and colon was the longest part of the large intestine. Diameter and circumference of duodenum and cecum was the highest of small and large intestine respectively. Thickness of the ileum washighest in the small intestine whereas, rectum in the large intestine.
