The flora of the integral protection area from the «Plaiul Fagului» Reserve, assessed after two decades

In year 2017, there has been assessed the current state of the flora in the integral protection zone of the”Plaiul Fagului” reserve. It has been established that the area includes 327 species of vascular plants, of which 26 species of trees, 20 species of shrubs and 262 herb plants species. There have been revealed 38 rare plant species, including 3 species of trees, 4 species of shrubs and 31 herb plant species. Most rare plant species have been recorded in the beech forests and beech oak forests.
