Two slopes failures occured at the office of Anti Corruption Agency (ACA), Kuala Lumpur. The failures were bounded by the access premix road beside ACA office and a stream at the down slope. Failure 1 occurred on the evening of Monday, 2nd October 2000 while the second failure occurred on Saturday, 30th December 2000. At both locations, the slopes collapsed after a heavy prolonged rainfall. Tension cracks were observed on the premix road and at some stretches the tension cracks have slump by approximately 0.5 to 1.0 meter. Remedial works that is being carried out use anchored micropile wall. The wall was constructed at 0.5 meter spacing with 12.0 meter long anchors. This paper summarizes the failure investigation works that were carried out on the failure location to determine the causes of failure and the remedial works carried out.
