General characteristics of the anesthetic for fish - clove oil and its influence on fish organism are described in the study. Data on species-specific characteristics and duration of the different phases of anesthesia, as well as their dependence on water temperature are presented. Application instruction for the anesthetic in aquaculture practice on different fish species is given
